Last week's poll came at a solemn time but it had to be asked… do people think that Apple would survive without Mr. Jobs at the helm? It's an important question for folks in the marketing industry for a few reasons… first is the hardware the supports much of the digital publishing industry, second is supporting Apple goods (iPads, iPhones, Safari, etc.) and third, developing the staff of the future.
Ua ʻoluʻolu nā pane i loaʻa iā Apple kahi wā e hiki mai ana paʻa:
My personal opinion (which really shouldn't matter since I don't have intimate knowledge of the company) is that the design aspects of Apple have largely been the hana hana a Jonathan Ives no kekahi manawa. Ma hea ʻo Mr. Jobs he mea nui, eia naʻe, ke hoʻopuka nei i kēlā 1% hope loa ... inā he hana, ka nui, ka hana, a i ʻole kekahi kikoʻī liʻiliʻi. A ʻoiai he hana kupaianaha loa kā Mr. Ives hana, me ka ʻole o kahi CEO e kākoʻo i kēlā 1% hope loa, e hoʻowalewale ʻia paha ke alakaʻi hou e waiho iki i nā mea. Inā lākou e lilo i kēlā 1%, akā, e kaha i kaʻu mau huaʻōlelo ... e hoʻokalakupua ia.
Luckily for Apple, it appears the market is optimistic as well. Trading was high when Mr. Jobs passed, but it appears the stock maintained it's value… which is significantly leading the market and other technology companies.
Paʻi wale ʻo Apple i kahi hiccup liʻiliʻi. ʻIke ʻia Kūlike ka manaʻo o Siri me kahi derrière in Japanese. I'm with some of the fans who believe it would be quite a compliment to e hoʻololi i ka inoa Siri iā Steve… A hoʻomaʻa i ka leo e like me ia.
